Repeat Prescriptions

pill_bottleIf you take medication on a long-term basis, you can ORDER repeat prescriptions by:

  • Using your computerised repeat medication request slip.
  • Writing on a piece of paper personal details, name of tablets, strength and dose.
  • Obtaining a repeat medication request slip from reception.
  • Ordering online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration.

All prescription requests may be posted in our designated prescription box (during surgery hours) or posted to the practice. If you require a prescription to be posted back to you a stamped addressed envelope must be enclosed.

Please note it is our practice policy that we do not prescribe methadone or benzodiazipines to new patients for a drug misuse

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
